How it works

Performance fix wheelwash jets are easy to use and thoroughly clean the tyres and wheel profiles of your vehicle. The vehicle slowly passes through the wheel wash installation, and can then drive cleanly on the public roads. Wheels are completely cleaned along the frame of the washing system while the vehicle slowly passes through. 

The wash cycle is automatic and controlled by photo sensors. The length of the cycle is determined by a timer or optionally by a second sensor. Spray nozzles are integrated into the side walls and beneath the wash module. This produces an efficient water shower for washing the tread surface and the inner and outer sides of the tyre. 

Over its full length, the main wash module has an integrated grid in order to shake the tyres and open the tread while the vehicle is being driven onto it, thus increasing the washing efficiency. Used water is automatically pumped from the wheel wash reservoir into the sedimentation tank.

Impurities and sludge that drain from the tyres into the sedimentation tank are automatically removed from the tank via a scraper/conveyor system. Water is then recirculated in order to be used once again in the washing system and the water level in the tank is automatically topped up by means of the float valve. A sedimentation agent accelerates and optimises the settling of the impurities to the bottom of the tank. This can be added manually or, as an option, via an automatic dosing system.
